Zee Arabia ..Oh Zee Arabia !
am not even sure when this Indian Movies channel came on air.
last night I saw a movie called " NASEEB" on that channel and u just had to see that grin on my face while watching .
this movie took me over 27 years back, when I was still 6 years and watched my elder brothers cut newspapers to collect pictures of that movie and hang them on their closets and room walls ..oh my !! of course the songs of the movie is another BIG story
none of us actually knew what the songs said nor the story of the movie was about..
however, what the heck can a 6 years girl understand from an Indian movie to like and love it this much !
I couldn't stop asking myself this question last night when I was watching the movie.. I tried hard to get an answer and I think I got it .. at that time, we were looking for a hero, someone strong, brave, undefeatable and god knows what else .. I laughed to tears when I watched the fight scenes .. they were SO fake and the sound effects were so funny!
Nevertheless, this movie is so dear and precious to me. It brings me back tons of sweet memories and it causes my heart a strange feeling of happiness every time I watch it or listen to any of songs in it.
I remember when my brother and sister went to the cinema and saw that movie, my sister jumped in her seat when she saw Amitabh Bachan ! I couldn't understand why she did that 27 years back, but now I do :)
